Called HP about activating drivers on my computer to activate all features on my new HP Office Jet printer 3830.Was put through to a "technician" at Geek Squad and knew what he was getting at, when he said, "I can't update your drivers until you buy a better security system" and "Look at this, your computer have a virus invasion." "You need to buy these security programs." He listed 9 programs altogether, costing between $59 to $300.
Instead I got off the phone. Who needs the extortion?
Then I was able to download the drivers myself, within a few minutes, after running my security programs.I didn't need the unnecessary pressure from a sales person, pretending to be a technician.
