Geek Squad - B.S. water claim
Paid over $400 for a warranty, returned my laptop for a faulty motherboard, repair was denied because they claim water was spilled on it. Those sensors are not fool proof and no liquids were ever spilled on my laptop, it was cleaned on occasion using a appropriate cleaner on a rag, but thats as humid as it would have seen.
Geek Squad in Miami, Florida - Best Buy not the Best customer experience.
Best Buy Geek Squad was scheduled to install my new TV. I ordered the TV on November 28 and scheduled delivery for December 17 between the hours of noon and 4pm. At aporoximstely 3pm on December 17, I received a call informing me that the Tech was stuck at a an installation that would take hours more to complete, therefore, I had to reschedule for either December 20 or December 21. There was no reasoning with the customer service person. Nothing could be done to have them adhere to their side of the agreement. No remedy other than moving the install date at their convenience. Be sure, I will never shop or recommend Best Buy. COULD CUSTOMER SERVICE BE MUCH WORSE!
Paid a arm and a leg to have them com to my parents home to set up 2 Amazon Dots and a Amazon Firestick. They took the money from my account before coming then was told the wrong tech guy was sent????? The one they send said he only knows about sound systems for TV's...Read more
