Never use geek squad for dashcam installation in Margate store. They did a horrible job it was a disgrace.

I purchased a Sony Oled tv. I also purchased the 5 year warranty for it for $499.99. Two weeks later Best Buy lowered the price of the Tv by $500 and the 5 year warranty by $120. Customer service refunded the $500 for the tv but would not refund the $120 difference in price for the 5 year warranty. Does this seem like some kind of scam ? It doesn't seem like a fair business practice.

In the last several days I have been receiving telephone calls that sate that my Geek squad account will be charged $399.99. If the charge is improper I should push 1 to be connected with a Geek Squad rep. I did not push 1, I call the qeek squad and there is no such charge being made to my account. Perhaps you could send a message to all of your customers that these bogus calls are being made using you name. Your attention to this matter will be appreciated C. Pound poundc@***.net

Your tech support are not what they use to be. When one your tech's are trying to help me, a lot of time they just disconnect me for no reason.Hire more reliable tech's

User's recommendation: get more reliable tech's. Now days I have to wait sometime up to 20 minutes and often for no reason at all they just disconnect.

Broken Microwave

The tech came to make the repair but the parts that were sent were the wrong parts. The technician diagnosed a bad fuse but the unit has to be pulled to replace it, a two person job. He and his partner are due back on Friday, July 2nd. I have now been without a microwave for almost a month. So much for that extended warranty. Save your money. Best Buy doesnt care if it is ever fixed!

Unacceptable Exercise Bike Installation

My terrible experience with Geek Squad started November 2020, after purchasing a NordicTrack S15i exercise bike, when the delivery was cancelled twice by Geek Squad because: 1) no product in inventory, and about 10 days later 2) no service personnel available to deliver and install it. Once the delivery date arrived, it turned out that the two Geek Squad service people were sub-contractors who, apparently had not installed a NordicTrack S15i before. For a month or so of using the bike, I would not get any results from my efforts (RPM's, miles biked, time, etc.), so I called NordicTrack, and they got me in touch with a certified service company. When their qualified technician came out, he found that the electronics required to provide all these results were damaged. The two wire harnesses with the connectors to the console had bent pins, thus no results were even possible. It was obvious that the two sub-contracted service people literally slammed the bike together, including not installing 4 screws to steady the bike. And they never tested the bike upon completion. The certified technician ordered all new parts to replace the damaged and missing parts and will be installing them shortly.style=" I directly blame Geek Squad for this totally unacceptable installation. If Geek Squad elects to use sub-contractors and not their own employees, then these people must be trained, so they know what they are doing, especially when installing most of today's equipment which is totally based upon electronics. I will never use Geek Squad again for the installation of anything.

Service not provided as promised.

Basically experience PC problem where computer was hacked and locked up PC. Error message suggested calling this number 1-21*-513-****. Called and technician proceeded to fix problem but said I needed to sign a contract. PC appeared to work but I experienced a another problem [error message]. contacted IT GEEK support and they couldn't fix the error message. Basically told me to ignore it but I couldn't close the error. Had top contact a private company to fix the error and remove all the stuff IT GEEKs installed. Tried to initiate a refund of charges to no avail. Attempted to email the support email address [support@***T GEEK SQUAD.com] and no such site or address. I'm out $321.

Worst customer service

My Maytag washer broke down January 9, w2021. I have extended warranty thru Geek Squad. My appt was changed 4 times. No one has come to service it. A company called VehTech is supppose to fix it. Parts on order. For 20 days. I have no washing machine to use. I keep getting numbers to call and I getting the same answers. Service is horrible. No one has anything to say but we're so sorry. But I still haven't had a washer for 20 days.

Up until last year had good service

went in with my windows 7 just to have the power button fixed well they did more than what i asked and it was not right had more issues then when I brought it in . Sent it back and they messed it up several times after that. I waited almost a month for the fix. Complained to anyone and everyone i could BBB pissed off customer their corporate etc. well after all that i was given a brand new windows 10 with the windows 7 files photos etc. Now I have brought in my windows 10 for repair we will see if they can repair it if not I am sure ill be back here again contacting you and any other complaint site. Id like them to be able to save what they can but mostly my picture whic h i have over 8000. I did save it to an external hard drive with Acronis true image 2021 but for some reason when i tried to put the intso the windows 10 it wa a blank file. then got blue screen of death. Had a fried who is sort of a techie reinstall windows but was not to my liking so now at geek squad again. I have total tech support with geek squad. After the disappointment last year i am Leary about the fix

Lack of products

I consistently order products from Geek, only to be refunded a couple of days later as the products are no longer available. It must be possible for Geek to remove the products from their web page as soon as they become unavailable. I am getting fed up wasting my time ordering things, just to get an email saying the product is no longer available.

Not getting orders

Nearly all my orders are quickly refused (presumably a lack of stock) - why is this? Some are declined immediately after I have placed them, so a lack of stock should not apply in these cases. Corrupt files

After a Geek Squad "Tune Up" on ``/25/2020 between 1:00-3:00, three word files on my desktop were currented. The agent didn't notify me when the "Tune Up" was complete and gave me not opportunity to provide feedback on his work. Contacted support, they discontinue (stopped texting) after I told them about my problem.
